Our friends at the O Zone in Red Hook, NY are hosting a clothing swap & mending pop-up with our lovely mender Anna Svoboda-Stel!

Clean out your closet and bring your used clothes to swap for something new-to-you! Do you have a favorite piece of clothing that has a small hole or split seam? Bring it along and Anna will help you mend it back to life!

Anna Svoboda-Stel is an artist and seamstress in the Hudson Valley. She loves the life and longevity of textiles and believes strongly in reusing and repairing what’s already around. Anna has been sewing quilts and mending her own clothing since she was a kid. She has been doing professional alterations and repairs for 5 years and works with a variety of textile techniques such as dyeing, weaving, embroidery and upholstery.
