Braided T-Shirt Rugs with April Rose - August 19th
Turn your old or unwanted t-shirts into a unique circular or oval area rug! This fun, zero-waste transformation uses a few hand stitches to get started and otherwise only requires a pair of scissors and t-shirts to create. You will leave the workshop with a new skill and the beginning of a rug that you can continue to work on at home!
No experience necessary- we will cover how to select and process your shirts, how to do basic braid, how to thread a needle and do a whipstitch in addition to the rug braiding technique.
When: August 19th, 2 - 5pm
(rain date August 20th, 2 - 5pm)
Where: Germantown Laundromat Patio
Price - $65
